Damiano La Terra, was born in Ragusa in 1992. He began his journey with music at the age of 12, experimenting with various genres. His first experiences are at Saratoga in Grammichele in 2007. In 2006 he interrupted his studies to devote himself to the family business without abandoning his passion for record production. Among his most significant experiences are the evenings at the Mercati Generali in Catania. Later, with the help of two other colleagues, he founded a cultural music group 'BLOW' created exclusively to revive the underground style where his musical experience and technique (handling equipment such as turntables and CD players) led him to be appreciated by many people. According to Damiano, the house scene in Italy is in a very prosperous period. Producers and club owners consider music as a commodity and not as culture. Damiano's magic can be appreciated in his unmistakable style: both in terms of production and DJing. After an initial period of experimentation in electronic music, he published multiple projects on various music platforms. His musical background as a record collector and his many years as a DJ prove to be a great source of inspiration for the composition of his work. He loves to challenge himself by exploring music in all its nuances. He absorbs influences from old electronic and house music vinyls he has listened to since childhood, reworking and repurposing them into Techno and Tech-House tracks with a unique touch.
