Michigan rapper/producer DKSLAYER started out with more low key mainstream type music, working with modern trap beats and modern vocal effects. DK eventually started listening to artists such as Lil Peep, Night Lovell, $uicideboy$, and BONES and loved it and decided to make his own signature sound out of it. Maybe with darker lyrics and darker subject matter. He released his first mixtape "The Slayer Chronicles: A Slayer Is Born" in 2022 DKSLAYER was born Dylan Kaster in Wayne, Michigan on January 20th, 2005. His dad was a security guard for bars, clubs, and music venues. While his mom was battling a heroin and alcohol addiction. Dylan grew up with older music around to appreciate such as The Beatles or Bob Marley & The Wailers, Dylan started playing guitar at the age of 11 and eventually moved to rap at 15 after being released from a boys home in Detroit he was locked in for a year and a half for bad behavior at school and at home. He got inspired to rap after his friend EXOTIFLOW started in 2021. He started under the name DKSLAYR then moved to DK-PH@NT0M! and back to DKSLAYER with an E. In the year of 2023 alone he has released over 153 songs, 9 mixtapes, 4 EP's, and over 30 collabs.
