J Dilla, Nujabes, Pi’erre Bourne, Madlib and The Neptunes are some of the many producers that play a big role in Kalon Mac’s production style when it comes to Hip Hop. Not only is he inspired by the “OG’s”, but many other modern day artists such as PARTYNEXTDOOR, Tyler, The Creator, Bryson Tiller, Tory Lanez, and Logic play an impact behind his modern day style. Kalon Mac's music is not only impressive in terms of production, but also in terms of lyrical content. When it comes to rapping/technical ability, theres a long list of great MC’s but rappers such as JAY-Z, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and the rap duo Outkast are a few of the names he learned how to rap from.
