Jaimin (born on June 30, 1991 in Bombay) is a singer-songwriter from Calcutta, India. He writes songs into the traditions of folk and rock music, without shying away from baring his soul in his lyrics. His debut album Cutting Loose, which features a host of notable artists such as Rahul Ram and Billy Cardine, was described in The Quint as "India's finest-ever album of original English songs" and was titled 'Best Rock Album of the Year' at Clef Music Awards 2022. In addition to being widely acclaimed by critics, Cutting Loose and its individual tracks have been highly praised by illustrious musicians like Pete Townshend, John Sebastian, Rob Stoner and Scarlet Rivera.
