Spectrum Vocal Group was formed in 2003 by celebrated Icelandic singer and choral conductor Ingveldur Yr. As the name suggests, the group performs a wide variety of choral music, ranging from classical to pop and jazz. Apart from the broad spectrum, the group‘s hallmarks are lively performances and the choice of ambitious arrangements. Spectrum Vocal Group performs several times a year and has given numerous concerts in Reykjavík‘s Concert Hall, Harpa. The group has taken part in international choral competitions, festivals and workshops and has worked with renowned artists such as, Michael McGlynn, Paul Phoenix and Eric Whitacre.
