Drones Club have been pushing for 4 years to build another world. Working through music, image, costume, installation and protest they have created a world that sounds, looks and feels like a fucked up jamboree at the arse-end of capitalism, joyous and chaotic, heralding in a new age. Fitting somewhere among the conceptual hi-jinks of the KLF, the techno-spirituality of Underground Resistance and the live electronic grandeur of Soulwax, Drones Club transplant these sideways approaches to making music into a contemporary context, using hyper-modern songwriting and production to convey a hopeful gaze to the future’s horizon.
