Micah David is an independent artist with a passion for storytelling. Her classical music background as a scholar-alumna of George T. Yang’s Klassikal Music Foundation, has opened doors for her to gain multiple accolades under her belt. In 2015, she was the Grand Prize winner of the Jovita Fuentes Vocal Competition (Female Category) and also won the Gamaliel Viray Audience Choice Award for the same event. She has also been a part of various productions — the latest one was playing the role of Andeng in Felipe de Leon’s Noli Me Tangere, staged at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 2019. As she explores another facet of her music but still leveraging on her roots, she hopes to share stories would speak truth to the hearts of the listeners.
