Burn Absolute is a southern metalcore band formed unorthodoxly in 2022 by drummer Anthony Marrujo and Guitarist Micky Najera. They consist of musicians from across the US with diverse styles and years of experience. The group gained momentum while writing their debut EP, recruiting metalcore veterans Robby Anttila on vocals and Ryan Earley on guitar. Burn Absolute would work with Jacob Lizotte of Dark Cabin Studios to write and record their debut EP “Cartharis.” The group worked closely with Shawn Spann from I, The Breather, who mentored their success and featured heavily as a guest singer on their 5 track EP. The group has just begun their journey but has yet to make plans to slow down. Burn Absolute will embark on their first tour this August with a 5-date southeast run supporting their new EP with Florida heavy hitters The Pine Drape and Catcher And The Rye. Following their debut EP and tour, Burn Absolute has been on the fast track to success. With several dates booked across the United States over the next six months, Burn Absolute will leave every market untouched. The group has begun writing for their sophomore record between playing shows, which is expected to be released in early March 2024.
