Rotterdam based Ebony Winter (22) is a R&B and Soul singer-songwriter. With her Sunday vibe, raw voice, riffs and runs inspired by Tori Kelly and sober and pure personality, she has developed her own style. In 2022 she released her first single 'Black is Beautiful' and next year she will release her first EP. Ebony was born in Breda and grew up with Soul and R&B from artists such as Lauryn Hill , Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. At the age of 9 she started singing and her talent was heard by those around her. When time passed she was able to get out of her shell and she started performing from the age of 15. She has performed at places such as the Jazz Festival in Breda, the Vondelpark Openluchttheater in Amsterdam and she did backing vocals for Shirma Rouse. Ebony gained only more attention after her national television debut when she performed Stevie Wonder's ‘Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing’ live on Humberto op Zaterdag. Now that Ebony has her university degree in Communication, she wants to make more music and above all have fun with it. She will therefore release her first EP at the beginning of next year and she will focus on a number of other projects.
