Simona Palumbo is a Turin artist. She studied modern / classical / contemporary dance for 17 years specializing in theater-dance and worked as a dancer, singer and actress in two dance companies (lepartiminime, Le Ginestre). She graduated from the acting and singing school at the Tangram Theater Academy (1996-1998). She studied jazz singing and music theory at the CFM (Music Center Training Graduation) (1998-2001). In 2002 she graduated in Philosophy, specializing in theatrical aesthetics. She studied modern singing and in 2017 she started studying classical singing as a soprano. Since 2000 she sings in various formations: jazz and bossanova (Leinì Jazz Quartet, duoinbossa, Bossanova Quintet), pop (Zero Impact, Vittorio Cane). In 2013 Simona began collaborating with Teclado, an electronic band that later became SDT (Simon and De Tonis) which in 2016 released the album Treasures. In 2017 Simona started writing her own music and songs with Antonio Valle in the electronic field and in 2020 she released her second album "Impression" which was also appreciated in London, where Simona released various versions of her single "Baby" , in collaboration with the great London producer Peter James Walsh. In 2020 Simona returns to Latin music and in 2021 she finally publishes Latin Land with Egea Music and Fraghola Entertaiments, an album of 2 her original Latin songs and Latin covers revisited. In 2022 her second Latin album “Latin Duets”, Made almost of original Simona’s Latin songs.
