Born out of Walnut Creek, California (February 21st, 1994), Dexter Brandon, previously known as, Xed, is a self-taught Hip-Hop, R&B, Trap, Future Beats, and Chill Trap Producer/DJ/Artist currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. Within his five years of experience, Dexter has developed a unique sound which embodies dominating bass, bright and poppy percussions, playfully dancing melodies, and soul-striking specific chords. Dexter pulls his inspiration from Jazz & R&B along with old and modern-day Hip-Hop that helps him bridge a gap between what empathizes and ignites his audience. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Dexter’s hunger to continuously learn more about the music industry has led him to create his own Recording Label, Kolossus Records LLC, his own Radio Show, Kolossus Radio, and his very own Music and Art Publishing Company, Kolossus Kulture LLC. With these companies, his goal is to shift perspectives and break stigmas within the music industry by showcasing artists and creatives of various ages and backgrounds; ultimately teaching them to take pride in their art while providing industry knowledge. With Dexter’s uniquely crafted style of production, he has amassed releases on labels like Modern Filth, First Ear, and Werc Crew, radio plays on shows like Apple Music's Beats One | Soulection Radio, Art, Beats, & Lyrics Radio in Atlanta, Future Beats Radio in London, BBC 1Xtra, and even music for stores like the Adidas Stadium Store in NYC.
