Tiger Tiger searches for what separates and what connects. Her experimental pop music reflects social tensions as well as physical states of emergency. A resistance, a harmony, a pause, then a leap. It can also be described as mother pop, as Cornelia Pazmandi, the producer and artist behind Tiger Tiger, has been dealing with the meaning of motherhood and being a mother in music and art for the past ten years as she is a mother of three daughters. Her music deals with physical and mental transitions, dependencies and resistance, rage, symbioses and fears. In a contemporary and dynamic way Pazmandi focuses on the connection to the outside, the points of reference towards which a society orients itself, and moving those points. Cornelia Pazmandi works as a booker and cultural manager. She is the initiator of the interdisciplinary exhibition format “Welcome to My Darkness” about motherhood and transformation. She is also part of ZIRKA (A Center for Interdisciplinary Space and Cultural Work) in Munich. Since 2017 she has been releasing music as Tiger Tiger and has been working with different producers and musicians. Her first EP "O Trust" (2019) was created together with Viennese producer Sam Irl. Drummer Philo Tsoungui was also part of the production, supporting Tiger Tiger’s live band over the past few years. From 2017 and onwards they have played festivals and support shows, such as Fusion Festival in 2018. Her second EP “Leave My Body” will be released in April 2023.
