Vy is a hip-hop/rap MC born in India but raised all over the world. Utilizing artistic story telling and vibrant charisma, Vy creates unique experiences for the mind to drift away. His upbringing has shown him the world too early and he uses music as a way to make sense of the various emotions cultivated by his reality. Vy aims to bridge the battle between expression and societal norms by pushing the envelope as an Indian Rapper. He uses coloful lyricism, deep 808's and mixed perspectives to build an unheard soundscape. His goal is to make music that feels like an old friend, a song that talks to the part of yourself you may have forgot. After living in Singapore, Mumbai, Chennai, London, New Jersey and Indiana Vy has made a home in New York City. In the last 3 years he has performed at venues like The Sultan Room, Piano's, SOB's and The Meadows. He has also started a music collective called The Formula with RMS, YDV and Naman - whom just released their first single Potion. Vy is now working on a project called Intelligentsia - The Story of the Seeker.
