Dj Iron Gut's journey in performing and writing music began in 1997 with the punk band Fallen Nation. Changes occurred, along with drummer Mike, and new singer Duff Patrick, they formed the punk/Nu Metal band Hellfire. After recording a short demo the band dispersed. Thats when hip hop came into play. It was 1999, with Dj Iron Gut on beats and Duff Patrick on the mic they started working on a demo recorded by friend Jason (Corpse). Getting the hang of things the 3 of them formed the group The Deadman Connection. Some where in the midst of releasing several freestyle tapes, going through Cyphers at parties, and talking mad shit, they were suddenly adults. Now on the scene Dj Iron Gut started to collaborate with many others, formed side groups (C.M.C & Mutil8), and joined a collective "The Locals" which was group of about 15 Emcees, Dj's, Graf writers, and beat makers. This helped the hiphop scene in St.Cloud, MN grow and gain a good audience. In 2005 the Locals dwindled, and members Rukiss, Duff Patrick, Corpse, Dj Iron Gut, and Postures formed the group @ The Ones Known As... which still exists today. Dj Iron Gut has a massive catalogue with 27 albums from solo to his various groups, plus mixtapes and unreleased material. Some is here and some will forever be forgotten. In 2021 Dj Iron Gut formed a new group with Long time friend Fost and released the EP @Robofost. There is a lot more to be said, but not here. Peace
