ABOUT THE ARTIST Cynthia Lim 林意 (シンシア) is a piano-composer known for creating healing music with smooth harmonies. Her relaxing and soulful compositions uplift and inspire listeners with their emotional depth. BACKGROUND Originally from Malaysia, Cynthia began her musical journey during the Covid-19 pandemic. After relocating to Hong Kong in 2022, she composed her debut piano piece, "Solo 獨奏," expressing her longing for family and friends. Since then, she has created over 50 musical works, supported by her global circle of friends. Her song "Let's Fly Together 一起飛," written on January 27, 2023, celebrates the bond she shares with her international friends. Currently, Cynthia is working on a project titled "Embrace Of Light: A Melody for the Heart," involving 16 musicians and featuring compositions in multiple languages and styles, in collaboration with Milk ミルク. Cynthia's collaboration with Take たけ, produced "Starlight in Your Mind: Think and Create 君の心に映る星光：考えて創造する," which won a second place of "Best Single for January 2024" from One World Music Radio in the UK. This piece, featuring a mashup with Hins Cheung's "London’s Blueprint 隱形遊樂場," also earned her a Top Ten Singer Award at the BNI Final Singing Contest 2023/24. Cynthia's music is a journey from shadow to light, filled with nostalgia and deep introspection.
