Kam Sparks, on his way to the top. One step at a time. Kam began his music career from a young age. Coming from a long line of artists, it’s nothing new for him to be immersed in music now. From the age of 15 Kam would write raps, DJ local parties and learned the basics of production from some of his close friends such as Hounds. Kameron moved from his small town in Nova Scotia to Halifax at 17 where he attended Dalhousie where he would DJ parties and really started investing in his music and creating more intricate beats and procuring his voice for stardom. By 18 Kam had decided to move away, taking a quick stop in Toronto, Kam made his move to Calgary, AB. Where he began his successful career in barbering. After a few years of establishing his roots in the hairstylist community he realized it was time to get back to his passion. Now Kam has been working with some of the top artists and producers in Calgary such as Shea Michael and smio . Kam is excited to release his first studio album with many special features including one with his father Jamie Sparks who inspired him from a young age to pursue his passion for the art of music. Now at just 22 years old, Kam is gearing up to release his first Studio album labeled ‘The Testimony’ in late August which he hopes can make a great impact in the local music scene in Calgary.
