Mauro Mariano born and raised in Nola in southern Italy. His first influence on music was an old recording of Django Reinhardt which influenced his early approach to jazz music. Mauro Mariano is an Italian guitarist and composer, bandleader, arranger and educator. His works are composed of soft and harmoniously complex compositions that also reveal a subtle and perfect fusion of jazz language and European musical influences. He currently holds a degree in Arrangement and Composition at the Domenico Cimarosa Conservatory in Avellino, Italy, studying with top Italian arranger Gianluigi Giannatempo, completed his degree in Jazz Guitar at the Naples Conservatory and studied with Pietro Condorelli, Marco Sannini. Mariano completed his studies in Europe and the United States thanks to numerous scholarships he won. With special interest he was able to study with Peter Hertmans, Frank Vaganèe and Dré Pallemaerts at the "Campus Lemmens LUCA" in Leuven (Belgium) with Davis jurka indrikesn tuomo usilato andrea at the bed academy (Latvia) and at the University of Missouri, and his music was organized by himself and played by MU Concert Jazz Band. He is an active artist and has performed at jazz festivals and other smaller stages throughout Europe.
