To some, ART is something to pass time and commonly referred to as a hobby! They don't understand the detail, the pain, the story, and the attention that goes into every piece. Like many starving artists, JereI Ink has made art a way of life. The Germany Born, Atlanta Raised Artist has a wide range of cultural diversity due to his life on the road as the child of a Military Family and his family originating from the Virgin Islands! As a child, Jerel quickly began to gain interest in art. "Art is the one thing that can be made from nothing, but worth everything." says Jerel. He began to draw his favorite cartoon characters, than quickly went into realism. It wasn't long before Jerel started to be presented in galleries within his local community. Shortly after teaching himself to draw, Jerel began to utilize his love for ART as a way to deal with his Bi-Polar Diagnosis. ART was the only thing in Jerels world that could keep him Focused for an extended amount of time. Jerel became more fascinated with art in every genre, which lead him to partake in ART of the Musical form.
