.ahkashi’s debut album, “Canorus”, is unapologetically genre-less. An amalgamation of acid jazz, hip hop and neo-soul that can best be described as the sound of blooming flowers. Rather than communicating with words the face-shielded .ahkashi speaks through vibrations. His use of atmospheric synths, tribal percussion and warm, breathing bass create for a psychedelic, near existential listening experience through space and time.
