SANDY is a Dutch artist born in Nijmegen. Growing up with a Vietnamese background in a white environment, she knows better than anyone what it's like to be an outsider. That’s why songwriting became her safe haven, an outlet for her feelings. SANDY likes to lock herself up in her student bedroom in Tilburg, where she puts her feelings into songs. Inspired by artists like Naaz, Avenue Beat and Alessia Cara, she writes and produces her songs by herself. As a listener, it feels like SANDY’s lyrics give you a glimpse into her journal.
