Derek Best is a 24 year old Producer, Composer, Songwriter, and Multi-Instrumentalist from Central Pennsylvania. He likes to dabble in Electronic, Hip-Hop, Digital Fusion, Classical, Jazz, Ambient, and Folk sounds. 2023 was a pretty good year for Derek. He got on the Beat Battle For Better Volume 1 Compilation (exclusive to Bandcamp) which helps support HoMie Australia. He also scored music for his first animation. He’s a part of Schmorgle’s discord server who released their first community album in which his song DRIPPY 1.0 was released on. He also got his song The White Forest - Snowdrop Version to be played at Infloresce Records’, his favorite record label, online winter Digital Fusion festival, Snowdrop Festival 2023. 2024 saw Derek releasing 2 new EPs. Batch No. 1 under his new side moniker Derek Worst & the J-Ambient inspired EP slntvc. In 2025 look forward to 2 new EPs: A sequel EP to “slntvc” (January release) and a collaborative EP featuring Derek singing for the very first time to his own production (April release).
