We are two dudes - TJ and Sumit, and we met each other in Hyderabad, India during our respective academic journeys. We got really tight when we started jamming together a lot, at the institute music club with a bunch of other good friends. We exchanged musical interests. We discussed about anything and everything under the sun. After physical distances separated us and the pandemic kicked in and we all got locked up, we decided to make music over the internet, talking over the phone and other social platforms. Rap Shotz had its inception in late April 2020. Inspired by the many visionaries of the hip hop culture, the ideas that we formulated in our heads are written down and discussed back and forth, spread across our beats, garnished and served. Our friends supported our efforts madly and we kept making new music every week.
