Portuguese rapper and hip hop artist Xakal Da Gun has been tearing up stages since early 2000's. Xakal grew up on the south side of the river in Margem Sul, Portugal, where he co-founded the hip hop group “Da Gun” and started his musical journey. Now currently based in London, UK, Xakal Da Gun is known for his impeccable flow and thought inducing lyrics. Da Gun’s debut track “Segundas Vias” and his own debut tracks “Storyteller” and “Tem Cuidado” blew up the scene in the mid-2000’s; since then Xakal went on to create his highly acclaimed “Salute Soldier” mixtape trilogy, a project filled with carefully curated features. Not one to be outdone by anyone, he established the indie record label, Salute Soldier Records, at the same time where he released his debut album and continues to produce incredible lyrical art found in tracks such as ”Next Hype”.
