João Paulo, Owner of Compacto Records, is a renowned DJ and music producer from Curitiba, Brazil. His journey began in 1999, and he launched his professional career in 2001 with the local project Groove4fun, focusing on Techno and House Music. After two years with the E.Feelings agency, João Paulo initiated the Technoweek project in 2005 at Stereo club. His most notable endeavor, Technose, ran for 11 years at Club Vibe, one of Curitiba's premier venues. From 2002 to 2013, Technose showcased both Brazilian talent and emerging international artists in the Techno scene. Driven by his passion for electronic music, João Paulo founded Compacto Records in 2015. The label's mission is to spotlight Brazilian artists, and it has since released 50 releases by Brazilian producers. Today, João Paulo dedicates his time to Compacto Records, producing and releasing music under the aliases Joønes, Zuma Hazan, and error909.
