Beyond Hyperion is the name of Marco Grifi's electronic music project; producer, guitarist and DJ from Italy. After a past as a member of the alt rock band Red Blind, in 2020 in full lockdown the first phases of the project are starting to take shape. The Hyperion sound combines dark techno and cyberpunk, with influences from hard techno, drum and bass, psytrance and ost from video games and movies. However the range of productions is wide, including rock/metal crossovers, alternative hip hop, post punk and ambient. Dystopian futures, neon, artificial intelligence and industrial sounds are all parts of the musical imagination that the Italian producer wants to bring. With two albums under its belt, several EPs, numerous remixes and featurings present on all streaming platforms Beyond Hyperion is always constantly evolving and experimenting.
