Ayete, born Michael Ayete Gyampo, is a Ghanaian-born singer, songwriter, and musician. Raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, his musical journey began at the young age of seven when he discovered his passion for the piano. Soon after, he expanded his repertoire to include drums and guitar, developing a deep appreciation for both rock and RnB genres. Recently, Ayete has ventured into the world of Afrobeat, blending native instruments with contemporary sounds to create a unique and captivating musical experience.
