Katherine Christie Evans (she/they) is a nonbinary and queer soprano, composer and instrumentalist originally from Romford in East London, UK. They perform on a range of both historical and contemporary instruments, including 6 and 8-string electric guitar, psaltery, gittern (medieval guitar), electric bass guitar, and using Ableton Live. Katherine seeks to re-imagine Medieval, Renaissance and Classical songs from a queer, feminist and outsider perspective, often incorporating heavy rock and electronic elements.
