The Basement Sounds are a four piece band hailing from Brooklyn, NY. The band is comprised of Tylor Barzey also known as Thunderous Caption on drums and keys, Aaron Warner and Marco Jimenez both switch roles as lead and rhythm, while Ian Wexelbaum handles the bass. Main vocals handled by Ian and Aaron as well. The Basement Sounds have one of the most unique music sounds in Brooklyn right now, blending Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Jazz, Blues, and Psychedelia. They’ve made a name for themselves in the NYC music scene playing live shows, events, and parties across New York and the east coast. However, while they have built a reputation as a live band and started in 2015, the goal is to bring everyone together with music.
