Hailing from the Maritime city of Halifax on Canada’s East Coast, Hodder (born Liam Hodder) has worked diligently to establish himself as an artist and a powerhouse in the HipHop community. After the release of his first album The Laid Off LP, He and Blossom Complex teamed up to form IBEX Music Group, a small label based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The focus of this label is to help showcase East Coast talent while protecting artists from the predatory practices sometimes seen in the industry. IBEX artist keep all their rights, masters and publishing as the company’s core values are Community, Contribution & Creativity. Hodder released his 3rd studio album Sorry I’ve Been Off The Radar, which showcased 18 tracks and various features throughout the project. The lead Single Hours and Hours has gone on to become one of his most played songs, earning radio play and critical acclaim. Following his 9 city “Self Funded-Gotta Love It” Canadian Tour, Hodder’s current focus is developing his abilities and rolling out some singles such as Pour Up or Do What I Do. He’s working with lots of new names and some bigger artists, we’ll see how this rolls out, will Hodder continue to drop singles or is another album on the way?
