Lil Richye was  born February 3rd in Charlotte, N.C..  Richye is the 3rd eldest of his siblings.He has two older sisters (Lize’ & Lexia) and two younger brothers (King and Rickye). Richye is mainly inspired by L.L. Cool J, Run DMC, Migos and Future and the producer Zaytoven. Lil Richye was 1/3 member of the trio group PB3 with his two younger brothers King K and Tricky Rickye before becoming a solo act. Lil Richye also models in the Charlotte Fashion Week in Charlotte. Lil Richye won the best youth hip hop artist of the year award  in 2016,2017 and 2018 and was honored while retiring him from youth category after winning three consecutive years in 2019 at the Queen City Awards in Charlotte, N.C.  In 2018 Lil Richye met and started working with his mentor super producer Zaytoven on a new project. Adding the name author to his resume now he has written two books, one children’s book called ‘Big brother Big shoes’  and a motivational book, ‘The no that meant go, 'GO HARDER’. In 2019 Lil Richye became a brand ambassador for the Charlotte Hornets traveling to schools in North and South Carolina talking too the kids about the importance of education.
