John Mars is an independent Christian Hip-Hop artist based in San Diego, CA (born in Pontiac, MI). Most of John’s creative experience involves sound engineering, which has allowed him to produce and mix/master his own music. John has been making beats since 2007 but didn't take music seriously until he collaborated with J. Noble. The two created a duo project titled, "J.E.R.K.S.". John's solo work consists of 1 mixtape, 1 demo EP, 1 regular EP, and various singles. John's most notable project is his 2018 release, "The Art of Freedom". John had a very negative view of AOF after it was released, which led to a mental battle in a dark moment of his artistry. John decided to step away from music in 2019. John reunited with J. Noble in the summer of 2019, which inspired him to take on the producer role. John Mars is now the executive producer for J. Noble's EP series, "All Things Pt.2". The ATP2 series is set to culminate in early 2021. This reunion and the works of other independent artists reignited John's passion for creating his own art. John Mars has released Magnifique, Vol.1 and will continue to produce music independently.
