Sassy, impassioned, strong and, most of all, honest, Taylor B-W serves unapologetic, phat pop/r&b music with ‘lyricism that is personal, relatable, and tackling a full spectrum of emotion’. Referred to as 'if Jaguar Jonze and Rina Sawayama had a baby,' B-W takes inspiration from every avenue of Pop/R&B music, from the 90s, to current artists like: Billie Eilish, Vera Blue, Kimbra, FINNEAS, RAYE, BANKS, PVRIS, Sevdaliza, and ROSALÍA. Performing frequently on stages around Sydney (selling out Bootleggers, Django Bar, The Vanguard and headlining the recent Marrickville Festival), B-W lends her powerful vocals to a soulful and high energy show. Following the release of her EP debut, BTW TBW, she embarked on her first tour in October 2022, thanks to funding from Create NSW. In 2023, B-W ventured into new territory, collaborating with UK Drum & Bass producer, WUFO and releasing 'Blockbuster Love' and the UK garage-tinged single, 'Defiant' - the latter getting airplay on Triple J and FBi, and earning her FBi's 'Independent Artist of the Week'. B-W won the Australian segment of the unsigned-artist competition, Emergenza, & went on to win Best Vocalist at the 2018 international finals in Germany. She is the daughter of legendary NZ artist (and lead singer of Dragon), Mark Williams.
