UniversalSoundShifts is a musical adventure that will surprise you with every release. From mindful medicine music to heavy dark ambient folk tracks, UniversalSoundShifts upholds a boundary free musical space where anything and everything can and may happen. Handpan, violin, percussion, ethnic instruments, several styles of vocal techniques, meditation music to heavy guitar oriented tracks. All is one in the end! Driving force behind the project are Ivo and Sophie, most known for their Symphonic Metal projects and bands Xystus, Scarlet Stories, Karmaflow and Equilibrio. Within UniversalSoundShifts the wish is to experiment, implement several new ingredients and love for different kinds of music which they discovered and experimented with over the years. They also wished to invite other musicians to collaborate on their music. They found a solid creative jack of all-trades in their friend and musical colleague Folkert, who accidentally also happens to have a preference for and background in progressive heavy music. Other musicians have been guesting during several stage performance in theater and with dancers, the self produced Ceremonial Sound Journeys the collective organises, on several tracks composed for different media outlets, online video recordings made and more.
