Yvonne Kushe is a Ugandan-Canadian singer-songwriter whose music defies boundaries and captures hearts around the globe. Beginning her musical journey in 2010, she lent her vocals to recording artists in Kampala, Uganda, before releasing her debut single, "Kanywani," in 2012. In 2022, Kushe unveiled her debut album, "Unchained," a deeply personal exploration of heartbreak and healing in the diaspora, earning her the AFAM Female Artist of the Year Award in 2023. Refusing to be confined by genre, Kushe embraces a multitude of influences, declaring, "Music is amorphous... I’ll have it all."
