TA THOMAS is a singer, songwriter, and producer hailing from the Mississippi delta. Formerly of Next Town Down, who went on to release The EP in 2018 and Juliet in 2019. After geographically separating from the group in 2020, TA began to experiment with his sound, leading to his work on “Talm Bout” from Chris Brown’s Breezy album and earning him his first Grammy nomination. Turning the page on his sonic journey in 2023, TA released his debut solo project, CB2W. A collection of songs, combining elements of R&B, blues, country and soul with the Mississippi Delta native's own stylistic gumbo, coined “Southern Soul”.
