20 year-old Rapper, Singer and Producer from Ottawa, Canada grew up in a christian home and had been exposed to music from a very young age. With his parents being former musicians respectively, music was always in his blood. Though he preferred to pursue a career in sports ahead of music, he always had a gift for the arts. By middle school, he began exploring GarageBand and developed a new found love. With a few of his classmates, they formed a group and began releasing music on SoundCloud under the name TWENTY21. Though the group disbanded after a short term, the experience equipped him the confidence to release his own music under his current stage name Joey Maze on SoundCloud. Months later, he shared his first body of work, titled “SELF MADE,” where he displayed his writing, production, and vocal abilities. Joey has grown to find himself showcasing his versatility with his discography spanning across a number of genres. His aspiration is to increase his fanbase and eventually turn his passion into his profession.
