Joy, calm and a feeling of warmth is something I wish for you as a listener. I am a Swedish saxophonist, clarinettist and composer. I like to play jazz and Christian hymns and worship songs. Improvisation is something I love to include in my music. I started playing the saxophone when I was ten years old. Me and my father who played the accordion played many hymns together in the early years. We played everything by ear. As a teenager, I later got in touch with improvisation and jazz music and started seriously practicing to become a better saxophonist. At the music college in Örebro I later got a degree as a musician and music teacher. At that time I got in touch with Rasmus H Thomsen and we started the band SE-Quartet together with Antti Ojala and Martin Sundström. In the fall of 2024, I decided to play hymns again. I love old hymns and worship songs as they express my Christian faith. Therefore, singles will be released in the future and a full album of hymns and praise songs in May 2025.
