Sergio aka SE/RIO lives and works as DJ and Producer on Bali. 
 He stranded on Island shores in 2016 and soon after started delivering his infectious funk, disco, house filled grooves with a feel-good atmosphere in many venues around Asia. 
 The artist name SE/RIO is a wordplay and stands for Sergio and Rio. To him music flows like a river or Rio in Spanish. 
 Born in 1975 and raised in the Italian and German part of Switzerland he carries multicultural flavour from early age. 
Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s already meant to be surrounded by happy tunes in the radio or first video games. For Sergio, it all became clear with breakdancing and the new evolving music to this culture. That blend of funk, disco and early rap music influenced him to buy his first set of turntables in 1987. 
 In the beginning of the 90’s touching ground with the first electronic dance movement that changed his ambition from dancer to dj and finally to producing his own music. 
 He contributed to this culture with his own releases on Indiana Tones Records, Warenlift Musik, Esance, SPA in Disco and Love International Records. 
 The drive to learn on new music instruments and software is unbroken ever since his first piece of equipment in 1987. In his music you can hear that there is no definition of style or genre. It is a combination of everything that he loved from the very beginning of it.
