Amy Holden is a Singer-Songwriter from the Piney Woods of East Texas. She began singing in church and school talent shows as a young girl and has since performed in venues from Nashville to New Zealand. After moving to Nashville as a teenager from her home in New Mexico, Amy developed a passion for playing the guitar and songwriting. Her vocal ability has been compared to leading country acts such as Carrie Underwood, Sara Evans, and Martina McBride although she certainly has her own distinct tone and vocal style. She released her first studio album, Where I Begin, in March of 2017 and her second album, Dream Life was just released August 2018 having been produced in Nashville and Texas. Amy performs live in both intimate acoustic settings and in larger venues with her full band in Texas and she especially loves performing in venues where she can share the stories behind the songs she has written. Amy's strong belief in God and family along with her values and beliefs have been a constant guide in life and in her musical ambition as she strives to use her voice and songwriting talents for good. Amy loves meeting new fans, whom she considers her friends, and enjoys getting to know anyone especially those who share her love of 90's country music and classic 90's TV sitcoms.
