Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, JW Jr is a dentist by trade, but he also has a huge passion for music production. Recently, he finally decided to take a leap and focus on this new passion! Despite knowing little to nothing about the process of making music and creating tracks from scratch, he persisted, dedicating all his spare time to learning and perfecting his EDM production skills. JW Jr’s hard work and dedication really paid off, as he was able to develop a very distinctive sound, blurring the lines between various styles and genres of electronic dance music. Not only did he create punchy and energetic tracks, inspired by some of his musical heroes and influences, but more importantly, he was also willing to make something special for his three daughters, as he created some vibrant and playful tracks just for them. While his future releases will maintain a fun and colorful vibe, they’ll have a broader scope. For now though, he finds so much happiness in knowing his daughters enjoy his music, playing it around the house! Blending different musical ideas in electronic dance music can be challenging, but the artist’s versatility really shines through. JW Jr taps into his passion for EDM music when producing tracks, but he also likes to spice things up by combining pop melodies, hip-hop lyrical flows, and some unique elements that are more organic and catchy, creating a very groove-driven vibe for his productions.
