Yvng Kizzy isn’t a newcomer to music. He has always been around the influence of different sounds. It has been noted by his peers that, in grade school, he was known for his skills in writing, as well as being an antisocial and insecure individual. He was sensitive and viewed music as an outlet for the emotive subject. It was only a matter of time before he tried his hand at songwriting and creating music of his own. Inspired by some of the biggest names in Hip-Hop today, he is a part of the new generation of rappers who came up releasing singles and mixtapes on SoundCloud, eventually releasing his debut album on major streaming platforms in late December of 2016, titled “Nightmares of the Bottom”, through his own indie-label, La Familia Records. That album led to a summer 2017 joint project under the title “No Ordinary Tape” with fellow label mate, Quota. The album went on to give Yvng Kizzy and his team a small buzz. He went on to release five more solo albums throughout 2017 until 2020, under the moniker “Kidd Klassic”, before severing ties with his label and reconnecting with his childhood friends, leading him to rejoin his current label, Loudnation, and to an eventual name change. In early 2022, Yvng Kizzy came out as bisexual and solidified his place among the LGBTQ community. With that, he shared his vision of shifting the culture of Hip-Hop and being a leader to the new generation, while being true to himself.
