Born and raised on the East Coast, Tyler Jacob is a humble singer-songwriter who has been blessed with a unique journey in the music industry. His passion for music began at the young age of five, when he started singing in school plays. Although he comes from a family without a musical background, Tyler's love for performing was evident, as he often put on shows in their living room. It was during his freshman year of high school that Tyler's talent was recognized when he was unexpectedly placed in a choir class. After the choir teacher asked him to sing for classification, she encouraged him to transfer to Creative Arts High School (CAHS) in Camden, New Jersey, where he could further develop his abilities. Following his graduation from CAHS, Tyler moved to New York City to pursue his passion for music. He has been fortunate to perform on stages across the East Coast, open for Grammy Award winner Brandy, and collaborate with talented producers like Carvin & Ivan.
