Why They Fight began as a small garage band. Just Listen was released in 2013 and the band had moderate local success. They began to tour the Midwest region and put out their second record, “Empathy” in 2016. Empathy was self recorded mixed and mastered through the efforts of Max Barksdale and Duncan Slack. Later that year, the band recorded their third release “This Is Why You’re Lost and Lonely” with Windigo Studios before a small hiatus.
