Lavisher was formed by vocalist/guitarist Gavin Cushman III. Their songwriting is composed of minimalist poetry, textured guitar work, and focused drumming. Lavisher has a melodic and anthemic blend of metal heaviness, leaning toward the left-field side of alternative rock radio, a la Queens of the Stone Age , A Perfect Circle or Failure, with shades of underground post-hardcore in the vein of Quicksand or Shiner. 
 Lavisher debuted in 2017 with a five-song self-titled EP. Their follow-up full-length Drastic Shadows was released in October 2019 via Philadelphia-based Nefarious Industries. 
 While Lavisher works on their next full length, 3 stand alone singles are being released: “Reverie”, “Gesture”, and “Stitcher” (“Stitcher” drops 1.27.23).
