Hi, I’m Thomas. Thanks for dropping by. Along with music, I also make things including some of my own instruments, sound sculptures, and mechanical rhythm machines. My touring ‘band’ features a motorized drum machine made of bicycle wheels, spoons, a motor, and more, called 'Mother Superior,' and a souped-up Gramophone horn called 'The Hornicator.' I was born in Denver, spent 20 years in NYC, lived in Germany, the UK, and for a while, out of suitcases on the road. But if home is where the heart is, I mostly live in Wowtown (which you'll hear alluded to in many of my songs) where I write for the Wowtown News. Before doing music full-time, I was a stop-motion animator on shows like Robot Chicken and MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch. I run a Full Moon Music Club on Bandcamp, releasing a new song monthly to subscribers. Though mostly a solo artist, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with special friends like Jarvis Cocker , Duke Special , James Smith of Yard Act, and Brian Viglione of The Dresden Dolls My latest full-length, Dream Catching Songs, features legendary drummer Budgie ( Siouxsie and the Banshees , The Creatures ) alongside Mother Superior.
