Aphelyon is the electronic project of long time professional guitarist, musician and producer Adam Barley. On stage Aphelyon blends funky, trip hop, ambient soundscapes fused with guitar, seamless live looping, and synthesizers--with deep periods of complete improvisation. Every show is a new journey as Aphelyon digs into his deep well of performance experience spanning many genres and styles. His studio work has the same intention as every live show--to transport the listener through sound and rhythm to a new place they can't quite describe, but are thrilled to be experiencing.
