Rob Lintott, aka Bobby Shoop Shoop is well versed in Dance Music; a writer, programmer and producer of a wide range of electronic music from laid back affairs to all-out floor fillers. He’s always had a love for creating melodic-driven tunes which have scored him a number of crossover successes in the late noughties for the likes of The Group Dynamic and Minimal Youth, and has been championed by DJs such as Carl Cox who’s played out his tracks all over the world. Such global appeal is well-deserved, music has always been at the heart of everything he’s done. London-born Rob grew up in Surrey where he trained to become a classical pianist from the age of six. He went on to start writing his own music as a teenager and played in two bands during this time. It was when he attended the Academy of Music in the early noughties that he honed in on his passion for dance music, both in writing and production. Rob today remains focused on being at the forefront of changing trends in the dance scene. During the lockdown cloud of 2020 Rob found his silver lining by etching out a fresh new collection of eclectic tracks such as old skool-inspired breakbeat and catchy, vocal-led anthems, many of which will feature on his forthcoming album.
