“Tha Fun Police” is the Name of the collaboration efforts of Producer Ken- ny Beeper (Ben Peter) , MC’s MC Shureshock (Cameron James Brown) and DJ / MC Snuze ( Luke Scarrabelotti) . When Snuze and Shureshock finally met in person at Elements Festival in 2019 way out bush in SE Queensland Snuze invited Shureshock to Freestyle jam over the end of his set and from that moment on the chemistry was set for more. Shureshock met Kenny NYD at a Krafty Kuts gig and talked about collabo- rations and after one successful release together “Rising Sun” early 2020, the pair teamed up with Byron Based Snuze when he put out the call on facebook to get some beats to write too. The time had come to voice the frustrations the Covid 19 had brought into their lives and Kenny had the beats all ready to go. The self titled EP marks the beginning of the trio’s works together under the name “Tha Fun Police” inspired by Snuzes’s old sky diving crew and a Will Smith / Jazzey Jeff mixtape. The Ep was released 7th Aug 2020 Exclusively on Juno-download and quickly too #1 position on Release Sales charts for Hip Hop and Break- beat, as well as the singles topping the charts in the first week. The sound of Tha Fun Police is a fusion of funky Hip Hop, Glitch, Lazer Funk, breakbeat and drum and bass all laced with the commanding lyrics of both MC Shureshock and Snuze.
