Savvy was born and raised in Houston, Texas, Savvy's family had a lot of hardships in life, born from two immigrant parents that left El Salvador to pursue a better life, to maintain themselves and their family, they fled their country to avoid gang violence among other things. Savvy grew up with only one of her siblings while her parents worked hard to reunite their family together. This and other life changing experiences pushed Savvy closer to the music, from playing trumpet in a high school marching band to doing choir no matter what happened in life, Savvy always felt like music was her escape, and after found that her true passion was in creating music.
