Sina Alam was born in December 1989 in Tehran. He began taking violin lessons at the age of ten. Five years later he attended the conservatory of IRIB and Tehran conservatory of music where he took his Kamancheh lessons. He was later admitted to University of Applied Science and Technology and earned a bachelor's degree in music. He studied under maestros like Mostafa Kamal Pourtorab, Mohsen Nafar, Hadi Arazm, Hadi Montazeri, Dr. Mohammad Reza Azadehfar, Vartan Sahakian, Esmaeil Gerami. He has worked with Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting both as a composer and Kamancheh player and also has been an instructor of Tehran conservatory of music. He has been a certified music instructor since 2008.
